Phoney Accents

If you’re American, please pronounce words as Americans do.  It’s adverTISEment (long “i”), not adverTIZment.  Also, I don’t care if the word is foreign (i.e. pancetta).  Don’t pronounce every other word in your sentence with an American accent, then throw in Italian twang when you hit “panCHETa” (I’m talking to you, Giada.  I love your food, but god your pronunciation is annoying and your large noggin is distracting). ~AKH
